        Wuhan student's painting aboard Chinese Space Station

        Chinese astronaut demonstrating Huang Qingfang's painting on space station 

        China's Tiangong space station launched the second "Tiangong Paintings Exhibition" on Jan. 21. The Shenzhou-15 crew displayed 40 paintings from 17 of China's provinces and regions. The work "China SpaceVolume" by Huang Qingfang, a student from Wuhan No. 49 Middle School, is one of the paintings aboard the space station.

        Huang's painting combines ancient Chinese characters and advanced Shenzhou spacecraft. According to Huang, her painting features bamboo slips, Chinese dragons, and the space station to reflect the traditional Chinese culture.
