As one of the key projects of Wuhan's Yangtze River Ecological Corridor, Young's Port Park was opened before this year's Spring Festival, attracting many citizens to visit during the holiday.
Ding Jiachen, a third-year college student who lives nearby, has often played basketball on the China-Chic-featured basketball court in the port park this winter vacation. "Not only does it have a good view, but the court surface feels so good," Ding said.

Mr. Lei, a local citizen, enjoys roller skating just next to the court. He said that in the past he could only practice on the roadside when there were fewer cars at night, but now there is such a large port park available just a few yards away from his home.
The park not only benefits the sporty young but also the elderly. Senior citizen Wang Yunxia said that since the opening of the port park, morning joggers like her have gotten to enjoy a longer route and a wider space.
